The intelog Consultation Guide, an easily accessible medical resource aimed at GPs, GPs in training, foundation stage doctors, nurses, pharmacists and medical students, was named BMA book of the year in the ‘medicine’ category.
The guide offers core clinical knowledge to help diagnosis and management, split into three chapters covering signs and symptoms, investigations and diseases.
Author of the book, Buckinghamshire GP Dr Raj Thakkar, said: 'The ceremony at the BMA House was a wonderful experience and the prize an unexpected surprise.'
