Available in two presentations providing 50 or 100 microgram beclometasone dipropionate per metered dose, Kelhale is indicated for the prophylaxis of mild, moderate or severe asthma in adults.

As an extrafine aerosol like Qvar, daily doses of Kelhale are lower than those of other inhaled beclometasone dipropionate products. Kelhale is therapeutically equivalent to Qvar.

Similar to other beclometasone inhalers, the most frequent adverse effects of Kelhale are oral candidiasis, hoarseness, pharyngitis and taste disturbance.

Kelhale is compatible with the AeroChamber Plus spacer.
